OK Here is an update of the last 10 years. I am still in Huron ( and I love it ) and working retail and I'm now at Miller's Jewelry, I've been there for 6 years and I love it. My oldest Ben is now 23 years old, and Garred just graduated from High School and is 18 years old. I can't believe how the time has really gone by. Everyone says " Oh, you will be empty nesters what are you going to do now?" Well you see, I have "Ruthie" that is my mom. She moved in with us December of 2006. You see my dad got really ill, I then moved in with them in May 2006, and he passed away in August 2006. I lived at the house with my mom until the end of October, and then we moved her in with David and I, you see she has alzheimers, (not so bad yet, but no short term memory)and can not be left alone all day long. Most defiently know what it is like being in the sandwich generation.
Otherwise things are good. David and I celebrated our 26th anniversary this year. We are moving a house on to the lake property this summer, so we can have something to do with our spare time. Going to completely gut it out and redo. We are really excited. Hopefully it will be done by next spring so we can just relax and enjoy with out any major projects at home or at the lake.
Well thats it for now I will upload pictures when Garrd gets home as I need his help, you can laugh but I bet you ask your kids lots of computer questions too!!!!!
